Miss Happy Mess
Miss Happy Mess is a talk show for women who are wondering what the f*#k is going on in the world. Host writer and actor Kimberly-Rose Wolter was born and raised in Hawaiʻi and now lives in Los Angeles. She has questions about reinvention, self-identity, parenting, and the practical shit in life no one taught her. She talks with friends, family, and people wiser than her on topics ranging from "Do I need a partner to be happy?" to "Whatʻs an estate lawyer and do I need one?" No question is off limits. No conversation is too big or too small. This isnʻt a podcast meant to fix, itʻs a place to build community and support, Hawaiian Style!

On our season 2 premiere, I talk with Marion Lyman-Mersereau, the only woman on the Hokule'a's 1978 fated voyage that ended when the canoe flipped 6 hours after its launch. Leaving the 16-person crew stranded in the middle of the Pacific for nearly 2 days. We discuss how the voyage affected her, her memory of the famous waterman, Eddie Aikau, and the effect Hokule'a has had on generations since its initial voyage 50 years ago.
